About Dr. Traci McCormick.
Dr. Traci McCormick is the founder and medical director of PrecisionMD Wellness and Weight Loss, with clinics in Decatur and Madison and telehealth visits across Alabama.
She is triple board-certified in Obesity Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and Radiation Oncology, and completed additional training in obesity medicine and lifestyle medicine through Harvard and Columbia. Before founding PrecisionMD in 2023, she spent nearly 20 years practicing radiation oncology, caring for thousands of patients, including many women with breast cancer.
Today she focuses on medical weight loss, hormone therapy, and healthy aging, with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause. She started PrecisionMD because she couldn't find the kind of care she needed herself: a physician who would take her concerns seriously and stay involved, without leaving evidence-based medicine behind. Her philosophy is simple. Good medicine is personal.
Dr. McCormick is a wife and mother of five. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with her family.
